IBC's parent, InTéléSoft, was originally incorporated in 1977 subsequently experiencing the many phases of the computer revolution that began in 1981 with the introduction of the IBM PC and the first rudimentary accounting program that moved us away from actual books and ledgers in use at the time. Peachtree software arose from that first software venture with IBM and InTéléSoft supported Peachtree products for a number of years. However, the advent of the web led to hosted applications or in other words software as a service (SaaS). Several very comprehensive accounting and payroll applications are now hosted on the web. These applications run from the simple proprietorship applications such as
Outright, which is very low-cost, to the more comprehensive corporate accounting/CRM applications such as
Brightpearl. We have now dedicated ourselves to supporting users on these applications as companies transition to the cloud.
